KidZania London - Educational Entertainment

StartFragment

Whether they’re constructing a skyscraper from building blocks or crafting a new hair-do for their doll, every child has a dream in life. Give them the opportunity to learn and explore their talents at KidZania, a one of a kind experience like no other. Located in London’s Westfield Shopping Centre, KidZania is not your ordinary entertainment park. Gone are the towering roller-coasters and overpriced arcade games; instead, KidZania is a child-sized replica of a city, complete with shops, restaurants and even a bank. Children from the ages of four to fourteen are immersed in a world entirely dedicated to them; they earn KidZos (the KidZania currency) by working in various jobs, cash them in at department stores and restaurants, or for the savvy saver, they can be deposited into the bank.

KidZania was first launched in Santa Fe, Mexico City with the intent to provide children with an inspiring space to learn, explore and challenge. With outposts in over 16 countries across the world, KidZania blends learning and reality with fun entertainment. Kids can learn valuable life lessons, such as financial literacy and people skills through the range of activities provided. With over 60 different role play activities, KidZania aims to inspire and empower the children of today.

Is your child a budding hairstylist or nail technician? Pay a visit to the KidZania beauty salon where kids can learn to style hair, or even enjoy a pampering treatment. This activity teaches children the importance of collaboration in a busy environment, as well as understanding how to communicate with others. Do you have a budding scientist in your family? Visit the onsite Lab to concoct all manner of exciting solutions; the perfect introduction to the Science world. If your little one is a Hollywood star in the making, parents can head down to the Theatre to watch them take part in a short performance. Elsewhere, kids can learn about Firefighting, Dentristy, Banking and even create their own print advert at the KidZania Ad Agency. There really is something for everyone.

For children under the age of four, there is a dedicated Early Years area with a Science Lab and Kindergarten so younger siblings won’t miss out on the fun. Once you and your family are checked in, your child will be provided with a security bracelet. This bracelet lists any allergies your child may have and ensure they cannot check out of the building without their parent present. Upon entering the KidZania world, your child is given 50 KidZos to spend or save at their leisure; parents can safely watch their kids from the dedicated viewing windows. KidZania is open 7 days a week and tickets are priced between £10-£32, dependent on age and the day of your visit.
