Fancy Kids announce brand new partnership with Monkey Music

At just 5 months, an unborn baby will be able to hear sounds, whether that’s their mother’s voice or music. While they will hear low frequency music better than high pitched sounds, the important thing is that you are enjoying it! Whether its calming melodies or power ballads, your baby will remember the music they heard in the womb for up to 12 months after birth.

Monkey Music offer a variety of fun music classes that stimulate and aid development of pre-school aged children. After the birth of her first child, musician and teacher Angie Coates opened the first Monkey Music class in 1993. Understanding the importance of music in the early years of a baby’s life, Angie struggled to find inspiring classes in her local area and decided to start her own. What began as a small class for friends and family has since grown into a franchised company with 11,500 families attending classes in over 300 venues across the country.

Monkey Music provide classes for babies from 3 months to four years, and all are designed with specific curricula to nurture a lifetime of music appreciation! Babies from 3 months will love the ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ classes, featuring gentle, soothing songs and multi-sensory activities. At 12 months, they can graduate to ‘Heigh-Ho’, a class filled with lively tunes and musical instruments. ‘Jiggety-Jig’, gives 2-3 year olds a chance to sing, play and even compose their own masterpieces! At 3-4 years old, your little one is ready to join ‘Ding-Dong’, a class that builds the foundations for reading and writing music, with plenty of fun activities thrown in.

These classes are not only a fantastic way to develop your baby’s musical education, they also allow them to interact with their peers, learn valuable social skills and allow you both to spend some quality time together.
